The office of Otjiwarongo Constituency Councillor made several donations to schools and health facilities in the constituency.

The two schools that benefited from the donations are !Guxa-Aibes and Ombili primary schools each received a printer.

The Otjiwarongo State Hospital received benches for patients, while Ombili Clinic got 10 chairs.

The Kalkfeld Clinic received a maternity bed.

"The challenge is that Kalkfeld is surrounded by farms, and there are certain individuals who come to us in labour, which means that they may not be able to reach Otjiwarongo in time," said Constituency Councillor Paulus Nekundi.

The regional council donated building materials to initiate the construction of a police station in Ombili, specifically for the security sector.

Otjozondjupa Governor John |Khamuseb received the donations and said, "I do believe that if we take each other's hands, we will make the plight of the government easier. We have limited resources, but we have got lucrative ideas for the development of this country; therefore, please accept my sincere appreciation on behalf of the community and the Otjozondjupa Region."
