The Masubia Traditional Authority has dismissed false rumours regarding the alleged death of Chief Gibert Muhongo.

At a media briefing, Ngambela Raphel Mbala confirmed that Chief Muhongo is alive and well.

“Our chief is fine. I am informing the nation that there is no problem. As can be seen on camera, he is joking and in good health. He recently traveled to Windhoek for a routine medical check-up, and we both returned last Friday,” Mbala said.

He cautioned the community against spreading rumours, warning that misinformation could cause unrest.
