Namibia and South Africa would use digital technology to track the implementation of bilateral decisions taken at the just-concluded Bi-National Commission meeting.
President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah says the decision is informed by the urgency in addressing unemployment in both countries.
Various agreements to expand industrial cooperation and strengthen manufacturing industries were signed at the end of the BNC meeting on Friday.
"In fact, we have also decided to use the digital system, which is also used by the SADC Secretariat to monitor the implementation of our decision we have taken. And the ministers of foreign affairs, who are the heads, or ministers of international relations, are the ones now. They're given a possibility to make it a priority to bring that system so that, as governments, we'll be able to follow the monitoring."
