NamPost has appointed Willem Mouton as Chief Executive Officer, effective 1 August 2026, for a five-year term.

Mouton currently serves as NamPost’s Chief Operating Officer, bringing extensive leadership experience in operations, business development, and corporate management.

NamPost Board Chairperson Dr. Simeon Amunkete commended Mouton, saying his “proven leadership, extensive executive experience, and deep understanding of NamPost’s operations make him exceptionally well placed to lead the organisation into its next phase of growth and transformation.”

Before joining NamPost, Mouton served as Chief Executive Officer of the United Africa Group and previously held the position of Head of Business Development at NamPro Fund.

Mouton succeeds Eldorette Harmse, currently Executive for Legal Services, Governance and Compliance, who has served as Acting Chief Executive Officer since 1 September 2025, following the retirement of Festus Hangula.
