During the panel discussion and audience engagement of the commemoration of the late President Hage Geingob, his values of constitutionalism, unity and inclusivity and his role as an entertainer who related to the youth were highlighted. 

Veteran politician Pendukeni Iivula-Ithana stated, "The governance principal of Dr. Hage Geingob is constitutionalism things must be done within the law therefore he spearheaded the drafting of the constitution. Dr. Geingob is the one who molded some of us to be real politicians the way we are and the way we ended up to be."

Bishop Emeritus Zephania Kameeta, the Former Minister of Poverty Eradication and Social Welfare, remarked, "Dr. Hage G. Geingob Unity! Is a house in which a family is living under one roof. Each individual with his or her own identity, characteristics, different ideas and appearances."

According to Chris Jacobie, the Editor-In-Chief of Informanté Newspaper, "President Geingob for him everyone mattered, whether its governance, whether its sports or social, the Geingob I know everyone mattered."

Oxford University PhD candidate Bertha Tobias shared, "My first interaction with the President was when we were leading some protest and the first thing he said to us when he summoned us to StateHouse was that he was glad that we were protesting for him that meant that we had hope. The way I know him as a dancing President he was happy when people protested because they believed they could do better."

Independent Patriots for Change (IPC) President, Dr. Panduleni Itula, praised the late statesman, saying, "One thing that he actually demonstrated was when he invited me to statehouse twice first time I said why, but he said 'A healthy democracy must be able to embrace all of us' and while I was there a dignatary from another country said 'You just contested agianst the President and you are in StateHouse that doesnt happen in Africa' and I said first we contest and after that we are Namibians and we build Namibia."
