Education, skills and responsible choices are being placed at the center of efforts to steer young people towards a better future.
First Gentleman Epaphras Ndaitwah explained that the Denga Epaphras Ndaitwah (DEN) Impact Foundation plans to turn that vision into opportunities for young people.
The Kamanjab engagement focused on "The Plight of the Boy Child", highlighting the need to give boys direction and purpose.
Launched in August, the foundation aims to empower young men through agriculture, sport and skills development.
Ndaitwah also wants boys who struggle academically to be guided towards vocational training, while those in school are encouraged to take their education seriously.
He reminded them that responsibility should guide their choices and that they must account for their actions.
“The best to fight is to fight your studies, fight to become a good citizen, fight to become a responsible citizen by so doing you account for your bad actions.”
Drugs and violence, he stressed, do not define manhood, urging boys to rather invest their energy in becoming responsible citizens.
Learners were encouraged to make responsible choices and stay focused on their future.
The Kamanjab engagement left young people with a clear challenge to choose education, build their skills and take responsibility for shaping a better future.
