A Namibian Broadcasting Corporation employee, Richolene Ouses, has been selected to take part in a seven-day SADC cultural family exchange reality show, scheduled to start this week.

The cultural switch programme is an initiative of the Southern African Broadcasting Association (SABA).

A call was made for interested Namibians who are keen on taking part in the cultural family exchange reality show, where two families from Namibia and Zambia will switch places and experience the social and environmental exchange.

Richolene Ouses, popularly known as Richo, who multi-tasks as a producer, production officer, and journalist, is one of those who entered, thanks to a WhatsApp status feature and a friend who never overlooked any news from the entertainment sphere.

It was this last-minute video that earned her family the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

Richo had no idea who her new family in Zambia would be, but with her adaptability and outgoing character, she is prepared for the unknown.

In this SADC Cultural Family Exchange Reality Show, Richo will not only take the culture, heritage, and lifestyle of the Damara/Nama but says she will take part under the banner of One Namibia, One Nation.
