A six-year-old boy from the Ebenhaiser Primary School at Karibib has been missing since last Tuesday.

It is alleged that Myne Oswyn left his mother's house last Monday in the Harambe location to visit his grandfather in the same location.

On Tuesday afternoon, the grandfather allegedly escorted the boy halfway to his mother's house, but he never arrived, and both the mother and the grandfather were not aware.

Still thinking that the boy was at the grandfather's house, the mother only found out when she took Oswyn some clothes on Friday and was informed that the grandfather had already escorted the boy on Tuesday, and he was no longer at that house.

The matter was reported to the police on Friday late in the evening, and immediately thereafter, a joint search between the local police, family, and community members commenced.

The boy is light in complexion and can speak Oshiwambo and Damara Nama languages.

He was last seen wearing a yellow t-shirt and grey shorts.

The Police are requesting anyone with information to urgently contact Dep. Comm. Iikuyu at cell 0812464757, Det. W/O S. Muduva at cell 0812137799 at Karibib CIU or any nearest police station.
