Popular Democratic Movement's President, PDM, McHenry Venaani has set his sights on young voters for the 2024 Presidential and National Assembly Elections.

Venaani says the youth have the power to bring about change in Namibia if they vote correctly.

The PDM is embarking on a countrywide campaign for the elections slated for 2024 and the party's leader believes young people hold the key to its victory.

Speaking at Kangweru Village in Kavango East's Ndonga Linena Constituency,  Venaani says the PDM government will ensure food security at the household level and reduce youth unemployment.

"There is water, this must be the richest region in food production and employment creation, but the two Kavango regions are the poorest region while we have water, while we have arable land while we have a capital of young people."

Venaani says his party mobilized resources to ensure that at least 10 villages have potable water to end crocodile attacks on villagers fetching water from the river.

"What I said is PDM is going to make a donation in the next week of 10 villages 150 meter pipes to communities to end the carnage of crocodiles eating families I have urged the business community, am preparing my party for change we are remobilizing, reorganizing, reinvigorating, re-engaging the movement to become the agent of change."

PDM's leader says the party has built a clinic in the ||Karas Region's Grunau and an SME Park in Khomas' Moses Gaureb Constituency.

He said this was testimony that PDM is ready to govern and bring about socio-economic development.

Venaani also canvased for votes at Mazwa Village in Kavango West's Musese Constituency.

"We are preparing the biggest ground offensive, members of the media here me correctly PDM is putting the biggest challenge ever in our history to challenge the change in 2024."

HE urged the party's rank and file to move from house to house and preach the movement's message of change.
