Media ombudsman John Nakuta has released the first Media Monitoring Report for the November 27 Presidential and National Assembly elections.

Former All People's Party (APP) Secretary General Vincent Kanyetu has joined the mix of political parties contesting in the upcoming National Assembly and Presidential Elections with the launch of a new political party, the Action Democratic Movement (ADM), in Windhoek.

With the Presidential and National Assembly Elections slated for November 27, there are currently twenty (20) registered political parties with the Electoral Commission of Namibia (ECN). 

The Omaheke Region shows the lowest number of registered voters since the commencement of the General Registration of Voters (GRV) last month.

In reaction to the Electoral Commission of Namibia's (ECN) decision to deregister the Christian Democratic Voice (CDV) and the Namibia Economic Freedom Fighters (NEFF), CDV leader Gotthardt Kandume labelled the move as unjust and premature.

Popular Democratic Movement's President, PDM, McHenry Venaani has set his sights on young voters for the 2024 Presidential and National Assembly Elections.

Venaani says the youth have the power to bring about change in Namibia if they vote correctly.
