B2Gold Namibia and the Otavi Town Council recently treated senior citizens and people with disabilities to an early Christmas lunch in the town.

The birth of Jesus Christ is usually celebrated by Christians all over the world, with families getting together, feasting, and opening presents.

For some, holidays like Christmas pass like any other day, with all the regular struggles.

B2Gold Namibia has, over the past eight years, made it a tradition to make the holiday season memorable for Otavi's senior citizens and for people living with disabilities.

In total, B2Gold Namibia spent over N$595,000 on vouchers and lunch for this initiative, which amounts to approximately N$4.5 million since the program's inception in 2014.
