The Windhoek Gold club Vice - Captains were crowned the champions of the Captain versus Vice - Captain Cup which took place in the capital over the weekend.

Since 2004, the Vice - captains have won the most Captain versus Vice - Captain Cups. The Vice -captains yet again added another trophy to their cabinet yesterday at Windhoek country club golf course.

The team made up of Vice - captains stole the show with 261 points which was enough to beat the Captains team who only managed to score a total of 255 points.

Vice - Captain Toady Gurirab expressed his delight on a successful event.

The players who teed-off at 9 in the morning put up a thrilling encounter which lasted for about 5 hours, to complete 18 holes.

The Vice -Captain team members included Jacobus Mertens, Melt Van Schoor, Toady Gurirab, fanie Oosthuizen and Clinton Fannie.
