The body of five-year-old Dantanie Eiseb, who was brutally murdered and buried in a shallow grave allegedly by his stepfather in Walvis Bay arrived in Windhoek today.

A somber community and family members gathered in Katutura to show support, bid farewell, and condemn the violent act. 

The body of Dantanie passed through his paternal grandparents' home in Katutura and proceeded to Gibeon, where he will be buried on Saturday. 

Dantanie's stepfather, aged 29 has been arrested in connection with his death. 

The suspect is allegedly married to Dantanie's mother, but they do not live together.
