The Swapo Party's Moses Khumub is the Councillor for the Guinas Constituency following Friday's by-election, defeating the Landless People's Movement's Fransiskus Khumub.

Moses garnered 1,407 votes to take the seat left vacant following the death of Elias Martinus.

The nbc's Kaisames FM has taken its Drive Time Programme out of the studio with a Road Safety Pop-Up broadcast at the Hosea Kutako International Airport.
