Justice Hosea Angula has been appointed as a judge of the Supreme Court, effective 1 December.

President Nangolo Mbumba made the appointment following the recommendation of the Judicial Service Commission.

The Senior Investigating Officer at the Anti-Corruption Commission, Albert Zaako, stated that the Commission does not investigate cases reported for personal gain.

The incoming National Unity Democratic Organisation (NUDO) Gobabis local authority councillor, Uataviza Patire, has committed to improving basic services in the town's informal settlements.

Patire succeeds former mayor Elvire Theron, who resigned from the party to join the Republican Party.
