The Ministry of Works and Transport has revealed in the National Assembly that they are engaging with the Office of the Attorney General to hold e-hailing companies accountable for permitting illegal operators on their platforms.

A rehabilitated inmate, Wilfred Dreyer, who is currently serving time at the Lüderitz Correctional Facility, urged young people to stay away from drugs, crimes and gang activities.

First Gentleman Epaphras Ndaitwah has called for urgent address of rising Gender-Based Violence (GBV) cases in the ||Kharas Region.

He said, although there has been some decline in overall crime in the region, GBV cases remain a cause for concern.

The event, attended by the Minister of Education, Innovation, Youth, Sports, Arts and Culture, Sanet Steenkamp, is aimed at encouraging, motivating and inspiring them to aim high and overcome any challenges.
