The Ministry of Information and Communication Technology has announced the appointment of Linda Aipinge as the new Executive Director, effective 1 January 2026.

The Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) has appealed to holiday-goers not to leave their pets unattended at home.

The SPCA has urged holidaygoers to plan in advance and ensure their pets are left in the hands of caretakers to avoid leaving them alone.

Security Personnel Services this afternoon apprehended a mental health patient who fled from Ward 16 of Oshakati State Hospital's psychiatric ward.

The security team included police reservists handling protection at the state facility.
