Finance Minister says government avoids borrowing for consumption

The Minister of Finance has said the government does not borrow money for consumption purposes, adding that domestic revenue is sufficient to cover operational expenses.

This was Ericah Shafudah's response to concerns raised by members of parliament regarding the recently tabled Appropriation Bill.

New streetlights were installed along the trunk road at Ndiyona Settlement in the Kavango East Region. 

The project, which took three months to complete, was funded by the Kavango East Regional Council at a cost of more than N$1.1 million. 

Walvis Bay builds N$25.5m sewer pump station
