The National Housing Enterprise (NHE) has called on local authorities to make land available at an affordable price to help ease the country's housing backlog.  

The Swapo Party National Leader assigned to ||Kharas, Charles Mubita, has urged the elected political office bearers to deliver quality service to the electorate.

Dr Mubita made the call during the party's ||Kharas regional executive committee special meeting at Keetmanshoop. 

Mandatory voting has been explored as a possible solution to boost voter turnout.
