“Danny Boy” preparing to face Tebogo Kagiso

Walvis Bay-based boxer Albinius “Danny Boy” Felesianu is preparing for his fight on the 3rd of December in Windhoek against Tebogo Kagiso from Botswana. The three times Champion Danny Boy will face Tebogo Kagiso in a lightweight undercards fight during the Salute Boxing Academy’s tournament where Tyson Uusona will fight for the WBF World title against Rafal Jacjiewicz from Poland. He has 14 wins, of which 7 are knock-outs, 1 draw, and 2 loses which occurred in the beginning of his career, and since then Danny Boy has not lost a fight in more than eight years. He is an IBF Continental Africa lightweight champion, World Boxing Federation Intercontinental lightweight champion, as well as IBF Youth featherweight champion. Should Danny Boy win his fight against Tebogo Kagiso , he will be in-line to fight Oscar Chauke in March 2017 for the WBA Continental Title. Oscar Chauke has been somewhat of a bogeyman here in Namibia, as he has defeated Namibia’s Abraham Ndauendapo recently. Danny Boy's aim is to get through this fight and work hard for the title fight to follow. He will be leaving for Windhoek next week to acclimatize and have time to train in warmer conditions.
