Day one of SAFLAND Sevens ends on a low for Namibia

Day1 of the SAFLAND Sevens tournament ends on a low for the Namibian side losing their 3rd match against the South African Blitz Boks The home side started their day off on a high, winning the first match against SA All Stars with an impressive 31 -19 victory. Soon after they were up against the African sevens giants,Kenya, with Kenya proving to be to strong for the Namibia side beating them 29 - 5. Namibia was up against Germany next. With Namibia adding the first points on the board ,however, the Europeans brought their A-game, coming back strong, winning the game 29-12. The final match of the day saw Namibia taking on South Africa, in what turned out to be quite a game for the Namibian side with loads of physicality coming from both team, however, it was the Olympic bronze medalist taking the win with an convincing 42 points to 0
