The ever-popular Battle of All sport tournament’s draw took place at the NBC headquarters in Windhoek today. The event, which was established in 2011, will see at least 16 teams from various companies participate in Football, Volleyball and Netball. Defending football champions Sanlam are reportedly ready to defend their title. According to one of their players, the other teams must watch out as they are not planning to give the cup away easily, our team is made of young guys and we have been hard at work in training to make sure we retain our cup and that is what we are going to do The Ministry of Agriculture’s Netball team which will take place for the first time in the tournament were very excited and sending a warning to other teams that, we are taking part in this tournament for the first time and we are going to make our presence felt and will show all other netball teams that the new champions have arrived. The Chairman of the tournament, NBC’s Samuel Kandjii, announced that this year, the event will be bigger and better and invited everyone to come into numbers and come and witness a great sports day, there will be jumping castles for kids and we will be very strict with time to make sure we finish this tournament in one day.
