Julius “Blue Machine” Indongo promoted to rank Inspector

The IBF/IBO and WBA world boxing champion Julius "Blue Machine" Indongo has been promoted to the rank of Inspector in the Namibian Police Force, for his excellence in boxing. The promotion of Julius Indongo was announced by the Inspector General of the Namibian Police, Lt. General Sebastian Ndeitunga yesterday, ahead of Indongo's trip to the United States of America today. In part, the promotion was enabled to boost Indongo' s morale ahead of his upcoming unification title fight against American Terrence Crawford. His achievement of putting the country's name in the limelight world-wide did not go unnoticed by Ndeitunga and his force, hence the promotion. The Police leadership always gives time off to its athletes to prepare well for their upcoming events. Such a service was also extended to Indongo, so that he can successfully make the impossible possible in America by bringing home all the titles that will be at stake. Indongo welcomed the promotion and described it as an encouraging gift at the right time for the right occasion. Indongo and his supporting staff left Namibia today for acclimatizing purposes ahead of the big showdown on the 19th of August in Nebraska.
