Kinda Promotions frustrated by boxing control board

Despite an apparent lack of sponsors, the man behind Kinda Promotions is positive to host a WBA Pan African Super Welterweight title fight in two weeks' time. The boxing bonanza, which is scheduled to take place on the 18th of November, will see Anthony Jarman in the main bout, to defend his WBA Pan African Super Welterweight title. The WBA Pan African Super Welterweight Champion will be challenged by Nkululeko Mhlongo of South Africa. As it stands, Jarman boasts a record of 15 fights, 13 wins, one loss and one draw, while Mhlongo has 15 fights under his belt, including 11 wins and four losses. According to the promoter, they need close to six-hundred thousand Namibia dollars to host the tournament, which is expected to have eight bouts. Up to date no one has shown interest in assisting financially. "We have no sponsor yet, but I have staged many boxing events without sponsors, it's not the first time" said Nangolo The boxing stable is also struggling to get feedback from the boxing control board. According to Nangolo, the WBA had already sanctioned the fight, but the boxing control board has not yet communicated with them. "I have written letters to the board, but till now no feedback from them. I don't know maybe they wil still be sanctioning the fight, but it's already sanctioned by WBA Pan Organisation" added Nangolo Contacted for comment, the board's chairperson, Ellison Hijarunguru, telephonically denied receiving any letter from Kinda Promotions. If everything goes as planned, the night will also see Tjauha Martin Maney in action, as the promoter is waiting to get confirmation from two different opponents.
