Namibia beats Senegal 95-0

The National Rugby side beat Senegal 95-0 in the third round of the Rugby Africa Gold Cup, running in a total of 15 tries. Namibia took on Senegal yesterday afternoon at the Hage Geingob Stadium in Windhoek in the third round of the Rugby Africa Gold Cup. It was Namibia's second match of the series. The defending champions started off the game with captain and Flank ,Rohan Kitshoff, scoring Namibia's first try of the match. The hosts were soon at it again with another three tries coming from the Namibian forward pack with Adriaan Booysen, Louis van der Westhuizen and Kitshoff, giving them a sturdy lead of 24 -0. Soon after, the back line got their shot, with wing, Lesley Klim, adding his name on the telly followed by Prop, AJ de Klerk, scoring the final try of the first half. This gave Namibia a total of 6 tries and a score of 36-0 at halftime. The second half saw Namibia turning the heat up with a total of 9 tries being scored. The second half's opening try once again came from captain Rohan Kitshoff scoring his third of the match and Namibia's seventh. Other tries came from Justin Newman, Darryl de la Harpe, Johan Tromp and Thomasau Forbes just to mention a few. The game ended with a staggering 15 tries being scored. The final score was: Namibia 95 Senegal 0. The Welwitschias will face Zimbabwe on the 15th of July at the Hage Geingob Stadium in Windhoek.
