Novel Ford has provided the Namibian Rugby Sevens team with a sponsorship of N$175 000. The sponsorship was announced by Principal Dealer Rosie Moolman, who said the reason why Novel Ford decided to sponsor the seven's rugby was because they felt it was a valuable investment. "The idea is to support and uplift school children and to support our national team. This is an investment from our side."added Moolman The money will predominantly be used for transport and logistics, including accommodation. Three vehicles have also been availed for the team as well as the team management. Robert Dickson, who will be doubling as Team Manager and Assistant Coach, said that the Namibian team is full of potential and that they will be using the 7's tournament as preparation for future tournaments. "We can use this 7's tournament to try and qualify for the Hong Kong 7's"said Dickson It's the first time that Novel Ford has been involved in a national sport sponsorship for an international event. The tournament will be held at the Dome in Swakopmund on the 12th and 13th of November 2016. Novel Ford are now the official sponsor of the Namibian National Rugby sevens side.
