Safland Seven’s gaining new Co-Sponsor

Safland Seven’s Rugby tournament is gaining momentum with RealGood Chicken as the new Co-Sponsor announced by the tournament organizers today. The Safland Seven’s Rugby tournament is scheduled to take place at Swakopmund from the 11th to the 13th of November and the introduction of RealGood Chicken as a co- sponsor will mean that Development Clinics and Schools sevens will also form part of the festivities. This was explained by Marne Bouwer Junior Brand Manager for RealGood Chicken. “We are looking forward to being part of such a world class tournament. We are confident that with our sponsorship of the RealGood Chicken Sevens Schools Competition as well as the RealGood Chicken Rugby Skills Development Clinic, we can contribute to the growth of rugby and also assist in promoting healthy lifestyle, discipline and team spirit among the youth of Namibian Rugby.”Said Bouwer. Namibia’s Rugby CEO Elizma Throne assured the nation that the Namibian team has been hard at work for the past month and will potentially put up a good showing. “The team has been going through their paces for the past month and we believe that under coach Jourie Boysen we have a coach who has a wealth of potential.”Said Throne. Event organisers have received confirmation of attendance from nine strong Rugby Sevens teams (South Africa, USA, Germany, Kenya, Namibia, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Botswana, Nigeria and the SA All Stars team), who will be using the Safland Rugby Sevens Tournament as preparation for the World Rugby seven series in Dubai in December 2016.
