Low groundwater levels of boreholes have left farmers in the townland of the Aus Settlement struggling to secure enough water for their households and livestock. 

Construction of bulk services in the Aus settlement has officially started, spurred by anticipated growth in Namibia’s green hydrogen and gas industries.

Residents of Aus Settlement in the ||Kharas Region are frustrated with a malfunctioning electricity vending machine that often leaves them without power.

The residents stated that the vending machine has been out of service for about six months.

The town of Luderitz and Aus Settlement in the ||Karas Region are poised to undergo significant transformation, driven by new developments in green hydrogen and in the oil and gas industry. 

Residents of the Aus settlement in the ||Kharas Region are still experiencing water troubles.

Their borehole has dried up as a result of inadequate underground water.
