Namibians who took part in the fight for freedom have now received the country's salute ahead of the Heroes Day commemoration on Wednesday. 

One hundred years after Cuban revolutionary leader Fidel Castro's birth, Namibia says his legacy remains woven into its freedom story. 

March is Namibia's independence month, a month to celebrate and take stock of what has transpired since the country's freedom, be it politically or economically.

Namibia Breweries Limited has donated beer to the Ministry of International Relations and Cooperation as part of its contribution to the 33rd anniversary of Namibia's independence.

The beer will be distributed to Namibia's diplomatic missions abroad.
