Namibia Breweries Limited has donated beer to the Ministry of International Relations and Cooperation as part of its contribution to the 33rd anniversary of Namibia's independence.

The beer will be distributed to Namibia's diplomatic missions abroad.

The Independence Day stock handover is done annually, ahead of Independence Day.

The Deputy Minister of International Relations and Cooperation, Jenelly Matundu, received the donation on behalf of the ministry.

The consignment is destined for Namibia's 34 diplomatic embassies and missions around the world.

The donation also serves as a way to promote Namibian premium products worldwide in order to attract foreign direct investment.

The donation comprised 350 cases of Tafel Lager, valued at more than N$100,000.
