President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah has wished all Namibians a peaceful Easter period of reflection and renewal. 

She said the Easter weekend holds deep spiritual significance and reminds Christians of sacrifice, compassion, forgiveness, and the triumph of hope over despair.

President Hage Geingob has encouraged Namibians to drive safely, refrain from drinking and driving, and adhere to all traffic regulations.

Dr. Geingob said this in a media statement as some Namibians are traveling to various destinations to be with their loved ones during the Easter weekend.
