Parents of grade 10 learners schooling at Otjiwarongo Secondary School have blamed the school for their children's poor performance in Grade 10. 

Otjozondjupa Regional Council Chairperson Marlayn Mbakera visited the family of a 15-year-old boy who committed suicide last weekend in Otjwarongo.

Otjiwarongo Secondary School was recently awarded the best-performing government school in the Otjozondjupa Region for the year 2022.

The overall best-performing school award went to Educate Academy, a private school in Otjiwarongo.
