National Unity Democratic Organisation (NUDO) Vice President Peter Kazongominja has declared that Okakarara will not be ruled by another political party, reaffirming the constituency's status as NUDO headquarters.

The bill to establish the Constituency Development Fund will soon be tabled in the National Assembly for deliberation and possible adoption.
