The Parliamentary Standing Committee on Budget and Finance says delays in the release of government funds are slowing the implementation of development projects in the Zambezi Region.

The more than 219 million dollar Naute-Keetmanshoop water pipeline construction project reflects the principle of sustainable development by investing in long-term economic prosperity instead of responding to escalating crises. 

Outjo Constituency Councillor Kleofas Gaingob says he is pleased with ongoing development projects at Seringkop, Queen Sofia and Werda.
