The Suiderlig Secondary School's hostel in Keetmanshoop has received three solar geysers courtesy of NAMDEB. 

The Deputy Minister of Industries, Mines, and Energy Gaudentia Khrone commended the company's continued commitment to corporate social responsibility.

Suiderlig Secondary School in Keetmanshoop has received a donation of N$250,000 from the Swakop Uranium Foundation for the repair of the school hostel. This contribution was pledged during the school’s gala dinner on 1 August 2025.

The construction of a new fence and the renovation of hostels at Suiderlig Secondary School in Keetmanshoop has commenced.

Vice President Lucia Witbooi officiated over the groundbreaking ceremony marking the commencement of the construction for a new fence and the renovation of hostels at the school. 

The Quiver Tree Schools Cluster in the ||Kharas Region gathered at Keetmanshoop ahead of the new academic year starting tomorrow to discuss strategies for educational outcomes. 

Likius Ngesheya from Suiderlig Secondary School in Keetmanshoop is this year's overall winner of the Science Fair. More than one hundred students from seventeen schools in the ||Kharas Region took part in the two-day science fair.
