With families preparing for long trips to spend New Year's Day with loved ones, the Puma Loading Terminal at Keetmanshoop is gearing up for an influx of public transport commuters.

Low groundwater levels of boreholes have left farmers in the townland of the Aus Settlement struggling to secure enough water for their households and livestock. 

The ||Kharas Regional Council has delivered food aid to families left reeling after a fire destroyed their homes at Aussenkehr Grape Valley farms in the ||Kharas Region. 

Christmas came early to some families from the Aus settlement in the ||Kharas Region after they received keys for their new houses. 

The houses were constructed under the Shack Dwellers Federation of Namibia's (SDFN) housing programme. 

The Oranjemund Town Council has commended the Road Fund Administration for its efforts to improve staff welfare, enhance operational efficiency, and support sustainable local development.

Councillor Roseline Mathys made the remarks at the official handover of RFA staff housing units in Oranjemund.
