Victims of human-wildlife conflict at Mukwe in the Kavango East Region are frustrated with how long it takes the Ministry of Environment to process their offset payments. 

A number of them have now resorted to camping outside the Mahango Game Park office until their voices are heard. 

Residents in Mukwe and Ndiyona constituencies of the Kavango East Region are the latest to join the call for a revision of compensation paid to victims of human-wildlife conflict, as they engaged with members of the parliamentary standing committee on natural resources.
