The Office of the Kunene Governor and various government institutions have embarked on a mission, as directed by the president, to assess the proposed Purros Dam site in the region.

The Namibian government has taken another major step in addressing the persistent water scarcity challenges facing the Kunene Region with the official commissioning of the Ohamaremba-Okanguati Water Supply Pipeline.
