Public urged to help nab Etosha poachers

The Ministry of Environment is hot on the heels of four suspected rhino poachers from Etosha National Park who poached two rhinos.

After poaching the male and female rhinos, the poachers' movements were spotted by the anti-poaching members. 

No official resignation letter from Muharukua - National Assembly

The National Assembly has not received a written resignation letter from the Popular Democratic Movement (PDM) member of parliament, Vipuakuje Muharukua.

This is contrary to reports that Muharukua has resigned from the party and the National Assembly.

Dr. Geingob dedicated himself to Namibia- MPLA

Angola's ruling party and a sister liberation movement, the MPLA, has added their voice of sympathy to its Namibian counterpart, the Swapo Party, following the untimely death of Namibian Leader Dr. Hage Geingob.

The MPLA, in a statement, says it is saddened by the death of Geingob.

Education Ministry launches website

Members of the public will no longer have to physically go to the Education Ministry's offices to source information, thanks to the recently launched ministerial website.

Police, Media trained to coexist

The Namibian Police, in conjunction with UNESCO, concluded a training of trainers workshop titled 'Project on Training Security Forces in Promoting Freedom of Expression and the Safety of Journalists'.

Over 54 participants were trained at the Israel Patrick Iyambo Police College in the capital.

Cabinet approves amendments to Article 4

Cabinet has approved amendments to Article 4 subsection 2 of the Constitution to accommodate descendants of Namibians who fled the country due to colonialism but have since relocated to Namibia.
