AgriBank provides mentorship to clients

The Agricultural Bank of Namibia (AgriBank), through its Agri Advisory Services Division, conducted a mentorship workshop for its clients at Mariental in the Hardap Region. 

The programme was established to provide structured mentorship and training services to clients of Agri Bank Namibia, who mostly consist of communal and commercial farmers who had been provided with loans and agricultural equipment over the years. 

AgriBank recently introduced a stakeholder complaint handling policy aimed at guiding the bank in the handling of complaints from clients and the public. 

Martin Inkumbi new GIPF CEO

Former Development Bank of Namibia's (DBN) Chief Executive Officer, Martin Inkumbi, has been appointed CEO of the Government Institutions Pensions Fund (GIPF), effective January 15, 2024.

Inkumbi has over 26 years of experience in various sectors, namely banking, economic research, corporate finance, developmental finance, and business strategy.

Stakeholders and SMEs discuss importance of value addition

Experts in various professions engaged with small and medium-sized (SME) business owners at Gobabis to discuss matters of financial assistance, access to markets, and the importance of value addition.

The two-day seminar titled 'Be-a-Business Hub' was spearheaded by the Namibia Investment Promotion and Development Board (NIPDB).

The Development Bank of Namibia's (DBN) Manager for SMEs, Heinrich Tsauseb, emphasised that collaboration among business communities is key if the target is success.
