The International Court of Justice (ICJ) can order Israel to comply with provisional measures within weeks with regard to its alleged genocide in Gaza.

However, Namibian legal experts say that for Israel to comply, more countries need to step up, pledge their support for Palestine, and stand with South Africa.

While the determination on the merits of South Africa's application before the International Court of Justice against Israel could take years, the court can order Israel to comply with provisional measures.
