The Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, Water and Land Reform will spend about N$8 million to service and repair its tractor fleet.

Oshana Governor Hofni Iipinge expressed disappointment over the government ploughing tractors that are collecting dust at the Agricultural Technology Centre in Ongwediva, while subsistence farmers are in need of them.

Crop farmers in the Omaheke Region in all seven constituencies have received 25 new ploughing tractors to improve the region's planting and harvesting capacity.
