The residents of Epukiro Constituency have applauded the government for ensuring that services are decentralised to remote areas.

As winter continues to affect vulnerable communities across Namibia, the need for warmth, food, and compassion has become more urgent than ever.

Omaheke Governor Pijoo Nganate has applauded the residents of Okorukurure Village for going the extra mile to ensure food security.

Nganate pointed out that the residents have shown resilience and determination in diversifying the agricultural sector. 

For 50 years, Rossing Uranium has remained one of Namibia's leading mining companies, creating jobs, supporting economic growth and contributing to community development.

Outjo Constituency Councillor Kleofas Gaingob says he is pleased with ongoing development projects at Seringkop, Queen Sofia and Werda. 

Gaingob added that the three settlements have been identified as growth points of infrastructure development.

Delegates from UNICEF, accompanied by prospective donors from the United States, visited the Tsumkwe Settlement to engage with community leaders and assess development initiatives.

A former learner of Nomtsoub Primary School, Bennett ||Khaibeb has called on fellow alumni to give back to the school.

The school is in dire need of additional classrooms and an assembly hall. 

The Oruuano Churches Gobabis branch engaged local young people on challenges such as alcohol abuse and drug abuse and peer pressure, amongst other factors affecting their progress.
