Pensioners are disappointed with the N$200 increment announced, as they were expecting more.

The late President, Dr. Hage Geingob, expressed hopes last year for a possible increment of between N$2,000 and N$3,000 in the old age grand.

The Minister of Finance and Public Enterprises, Iipumbu Shiimi, while tabling the National Budget in Parliament, announced an increment of only N$200 for pensioners.
