The SADC region has been jolted into convening a high-level side event at the ongoing Africa Travel Indaba to consider ways to boost the region's tourism potential.

The Acting Chief Executive Officer of the Namibia Tourism Board, Bonnie Mbidzo, has described the Africa Travel Indaba as a success.

The NTB attended the Africa Travel Indaba from the 13th–16th of May of this month in Durban, South Africa.
