SOUTH AFRICA COURT OF APPEAL TO RULE ON LUNGU REMAINS CASE

South Africa's Supreme Court of Appeal is expected to deliver its judgement tomorrow in the case concerning the repatriation of former President Edgar Lungu's remains to Zambia.

The court reserved judgement after hearing submissions on May 29, 2026.

Algeria's ambassador to Namibia has stated that the late former President Liamine Zéroual played a key role in strengthening bilateral relations between Algeria and Namibia.

Zéroual died on Saturday in a military hospital in Algiers at the age of 84 and was buried in his hometown of Batna on Monday.
