Zambia's founding president, Kenneth Kaunda's oldest daughter, Catherine, who died last Saturday while visiting her country, was buried in Lusaka on Thursday.

It was at this venue, Arakan Barracks Army Chapel, that Catherine Kaunda's wedding ceremony to Zambia Army officer Arthur Mwanza took place in 1971.

Fifty-five years later, the venue was hosting Kaunda's funeral service.

Namibia's High Commissioner to Zambia Goms Menette and his Zambian counterpart Stephen Katuka were among those who attended the burial.
