Police in ||Kharas Region have launched the festive season road safety operation with a show of force.

The launch took place at the police roadblock outside Keetmanshoop.

Poor planning, blame-shifting, a lack of textbooks, and school furniture have been identified as contributing to poor learner performance in the ||Kharas Region during the first half of this year.

||Kharas Governor Aletha Frederick has called for concerted efforts to address the needs of all citizens in the region. 

She made the call during the regional development report at Keetmanshoop.
