Havo villagers still without safe water despite borehole promise

Residents of Havo village in the Kavango East's Mukwe Constituency continue drinking water not fit for human consumption 10 months after the Rural Water Supply Division promised to drill a new borehole for them.

Residents of Havo Village in the Kavango East Region's Mukwe Constituency have been facing a water crisis since late last year. The situation is affecting both humans and livestock.

The only borehole in the village cannot cater for both humans and livestock, and as a result, animals have started to die.
