China to impose 84% tariffs on U.S. imports

China has announced that it would impose 84-percent tariffs on goods it imports from the USA.

The new retaliatory tariffs are expected to come into effect on April 10, China’s Finance Ministry said. 

SADC says U.S. tariffs undermine benefits of AGOA for member states

The Southern African Development Community (SADC) says the reciprocal tariffs imposed by the U.S. nullify the benefits member states had under the African Growth and Opportunity Act (AGOA).

SADC is the latest to react to the tariff increment by U.S. President Donald Trump.
